Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations by gathering medical history and utilizing assessment techniques to determine orthopedic rehabilitation needs. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for diverse populations, including post-operative recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain, while adapting strategies based on patient progress. Maintain accurate documentation of initial evaluations, daily progress notes, and discharge evaluations to ensure compliance with healthcare standards. Engage in effective communication with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and participate in discharge planning with follow-up strategies. Complete required corporate and clinical training programs adhering to local, state, and federal regulations. Operate onsite Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution
- A valid state license to practice physical therapy as required by New Jersey regulations
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of two years of experience in an orthopedic or outpatient clinical setting
- Proficiency in contemporary physical therapy methodologies and techniques, particularly in outpatient orthopedic practice
