Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patient goals and treatment needs, then manage an individual caseload ensuring one patient per hour. Design and implement effective treatment plans using hands-on manual therapy techniques to restore mobility and reduce pain. Educate patients on conditions and protocols while developing individualized fitness plans that encourage long-term health enhancements. Monitor progress and adjust strategies based on evolving needs, documenting all interactions thoroughly in the WebPT EMR system. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to integrate comprehensive strategies and explore cost-effective alternatives to medications or surgery.
Required Qualifications
- A Master's degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (MPT/DPT)
- A valid Physical Therapist license issued by the State of Florida
- A pristine professional record with no disciplinary actions or board complaints
- Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques
- A commitment to patient-centered care
- Competence in developing exercise protocols
- Facilitating patient education
- Experience with EMR software, specifically WebPT
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting
