Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to identify patient goals and needs, then manage a load of one individual per hour. Develop and implement effective treatment plans utilizing intervention techniques for orthopedic issues, providing personalized, evidence-based therapy sessions focused on strength, flexibility, and coordination. Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to execute comprehensive care strategies, while documenting progress and interventions accurately using WebPT. Educate patients about their conditions and lifestyle modifications to enhance health and well-being. Work onsite Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM with a team of two physical therapists and one assistant.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program
- Current and valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia
- No history of disciplinary actions against the professional license
- Exceptional manual therapy skills
- Proficiency in developing health-focused exercise routines
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of three years of relevant experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy
- A track record of successful patient outcomes in rehabilitation settings
