Job Summary
Evaluate patients' physical conditions and document progress using evidence-based assessments. Develop personalized rehabilitation plans employing manual therapy techniques to minimize discomfort and maximize mobility. Manage a patient load of one individual per hour while monitoring treatment effects and adjusting care plans based on patient responses. Collaborate with physicians and occupational therapists to coordinate comprehensive care for orthopedic patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic pain. Engage actively in continuing education to stay updated on best practices. Work onsite Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program
- Current active license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Illinois
- No board actions or disciplinary actions against your license
- Strong foundational knowledge in orthopedic physical therapy practices
- Exceptional manual therapy skills
- Proficiency in creating customized exercise routines tailored to individual patient conditions and goals
- A minimum of three years of experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting
- Experience treating a wide variety of musculoskeletal injuries
- Commitment to improving patient functional outcomes
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) software, specifically WebPT
