Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive assessments of orthopedic patients to identify specific goals and treatment needs, then provide high-quality physical therapy services by seeing 2-3 patients per hour. Utilize a variety of treatment techniques to develop tailored care plans aimed at restoring mobility, relieving pain, and implementing fitness-oriented programs focused on strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination. Systematically evaluate, monitor, and document patient progress while adjusting care plans as necessary to ensure continual improvement and facilitate a quicker, safer return to active lifestyles.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program
- Active Physical Therapist License in Maryland, with no disciplinary actions on record
- Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques
- Solid foundation in therapeutic exercises
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT
