Job Summary
Assess and evaluate orthopedic conditions through comprehensive physical therapy evaluations to inform individualized treatment strategies. Create and implement personalized treatment plans addressing specific orthopedic needs, utilizing evidence-based practices and therapeutic modalities. Consistently reassess patient progress by monitoring clinical signs, symptoms, and functional improvements, adjusting care plans as necessary to achieve desired outcomes. Document all patient interactions, including SOAP notes and progress updates, using the electronic health record system promptly. Provide education to patients and families regarding treatment processes and recovery expectations. Meet productivity targets while collaborating with various healthcare professionals to offer integrated services. Work onsite in an outpatient office equipped with advanced technology, serving patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, fractures, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal conditions.
Required Qualifications
- A valid and unrestricted license to practice physical therapy in the state of Florida, issued by the Board of Physical Therapy.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
- Proficient in conducting both in-person and telehealth evaluations and treatments, ensuring accessibility for all patients when clinically appropriate.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a strong commitment to serving a diverse patient population, regardless of age, race, or background.
- Demonstrated ability to be flexible and responsive to a rapidly changing clinical environment.
- A team-oriented approach with a focus on high-quality customer service and collaboration.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy, with a minimum of 1-2 years in a similar clinical setting.
- Familiarity with current rehabilitation modalities and a strong understanding of manual therapy techniques.
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary team and familiarity with electronic record-keeping systems.
