Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive orthopedic physical therapy evaluations and create personalized treatment plans for patients recovering from surgeries, fractures, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal conditions. Reassess patient progress by monitoring clinical signs and functional improvements, adjusting care strategies as needed to achieve desired outcomes. Document all interactions using the electronic health record system and provide education to patients and families regarding their recovery process. Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to offer integrated services and meet productivity targets while serving as an ambassador for the clinic's community values.
Required Qualifications
- A valid and unrestricted license to practice physical therapy in the state of Florida, issued by the Board of Physical Therapy.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
- Proficient in conducting both in-person and telehealth evaluations and treatments, ensuring accessibility for all patients when clinically appropriate.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a strong commitment to serving a diverse patient population, regardless of age, race, or background.
- Demonstrated ability to be flexible and responsive to a rapidly changing clinical environment.
- A team-oriented approach with a focus on high-quality customer service and collaboration.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy, with a minimum of 1-2 years in a similar clinical setting.
