Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations for orthopedic patients, developing tailored treatment plans to address individual recovery objectives. Utilize the clinic's electronic medical record system to maintain accurate documentation, including SOAP notes and progress reports, while performing regular reassessments to adjust interventions and optimize outcomes. Engage with patients and families to provide education on therapeutic processes and empower active participation in care. Collaborate across disciplines to deliver integrated services and achieve productivity goals aligned with clinic metrics. Perform evaluations and interventions both in-person and via telehealth as clinically appropriate.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or a Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Current and unrestricted licensure to practice physical therapy in Florida
- Willingness to perform physical therapy evaluations and provide interventions both in-person and via telehealth, when clinically appropriate
- A strong desire to work with a diverse patient population, demonstrating cultural sensitivity and understanding
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and constantly changing work environment while maintaining a positive attitude
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with a focus on teamwork and exceptional customer service
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of two years of experience in an orthopedic physical therapy setting
- Experience with telehealth technology and remote patient engagement
