Job Summary
Assess and evaluate patients' conditions to develop tailored treatment plans addressing orthopedic recovery goals. Utilize hands-on therapy techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation. Educate patients on injury prevention and recovery strategies. Maintain accurate documentation using the EMR platform and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians and occupational therapists. Focus primarily on adult patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, and musculoskeletal ailments. Requires a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy, active New Jersey license, and two years of clinical experience. Salary ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 annually with comprehensive health benefits and a 401(k).
Required Qualifications
- A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- An active Physical Therapist license in New Jersey that is in good standing
- A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an orthopedic or outpatient setting
- Proficient in manual therapy techniques
- Experience using EMR platforms such as WebPT for documentation and patient management
- No prior disciplinary actions or board issues
