Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patient goals and needs, developing personalized treatment plans and managing a load of one patient per hour. Utilize a range of therapeutic techniques and modalities to provide evidence-based treatments that foster improvement in mobility and functionality while documenting care services accurately. Encourage patients to take an active role in their recovery by providing educational resources and motivation throughout the treatment process. Collaborate with physicians and therapists to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care, monitoring progress regularly and making necessary adjustments to care plans. Lead workshops or group sessions aimed at enhancing overall health and well-being, focusing on strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program
- Active licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Washington, with no disciplinary actions taken against your license
- Strong manual therapy skills
- Proficiency in creating customized exercise regimens for diverse patient needs
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) software, specifically WebPT
- Capacity to document patient progress efficiently within the system
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting
- Experience with a focus on therapeutic exercises and injury rehabilitation
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
- Experience in developing and leading wellness programs for different patient demographics
