Job Summary

Conduct thorough patient assessments to recognize individual rehabilitation goals and needs, managing a patient load of one individual per hour. Implement and adjust cost-effective treatment strategies to improve mobility and function, while developing comprehensive care plans that integrate various rehabilitation techniques. Facilitate customized fitness and wellness programs tailored to specific patient needs, motivating individuals throughout their treatment process. Document all patient interactions and services provided in a timely manner to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes. The clinic operates Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, serving a diverse population including athletes, older adults, and individuals with chronic pain.

Required Qualifications

  • A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree
  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of New York
  • No disciplinary actions or board actions against your professional license
  • Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques
  • Strong skills in creating effective and engaging exercise routines to facilitate recovery
  • Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, and the ability to use them efficiently to manage patient data
  • Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM

Desired Qualifications

  • Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting
