Job Summary
Conduct thorough assessments to identify patient goals and needs, tailoring treatment strategies accordingly. Manage a patient caseload of one patient per hour, delivering effective rehabilitation interventions and designing cost-effective treatment plans. Utilize prior experience in orthopedic outpatient therapy to promote non-surgical alternatives and develop customized fitness programs that align with patients' specific objectives. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, including physicians and physical therapist assistants, to ensure holistic care while accurately documenting all interactions and services provided. Regularly evaluate treatment outcomes and adapt care plans as necessary to help patients regain motion and achieve personal health goals.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of California, specifically in San Mateo
- No history of board actions or disciplinary issues against your license
- Proven manual therapy skills and a strong foundation in therapeutic techniques
- Experience in developing effective exercise and rehabilitation plans customized for patient needs
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) software, such as WebPT, and proficient in its application
- Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting
