Job Summary
Conduct thorough assessments during initial consultations to evaluate unique patient goals and needs. Design and implement individualized care plans utilizing evidence-based treatments, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercise, to facilitate optimal recovery. Maintain an efficient patient load of one individual per hour while educating patients and caregivers on rehabilitation protocols. Collaborate with physicians and specialists to ensure comprehensive care, monitor progress, and document interventions regularly. Work onsite Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM within a multidisciplinary team at our Lynchburg clinic.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia.
- No disciplinary actions or board actions against your physical therapy license.
- Demonstrated strong manual therapy skills and the ability to develop effective exercise regimens.
- Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, to efficiently manage patient documentation.
- Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable, allowing you to hit the ground running and quickly adapt to our clinic's practices.
