Job Summary
Assess patients, devise tailored treatment plans, and manage a caseload of one individual per hour in an orthopedic outpatient setting. Deliver accurate evaluations, implement exercise routines, and explore cost-effective non-surgical options to enhance mobility while documenting all interventions meticulously. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize outcomes and encourage patient engagement throughout their rehabilitation journey. Work onsite Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Maryland
- No board or disciplinary actions against your professional license
- Strong manual therapy skills
- Proficient understanding of developing exercise routines tailored to patient needs
- Experience and fluency in using EMR software like WebPT
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting
- Ability to engage patients with diverse backgrounds and tailor care strategies to suit individual health journeys
- Experience in developing group fitness and rehabilitation programs
