Job Summary
Provide individualized care to patients by crafting customized treatment plans that align with their unique goals, needs, and physical conditions. Maintain a manageable patient load while utilizing evidence-based techniques to implement cost-effective treatments aimed at improving mobility and reducing pain. Focus on non-surgical interventions, develop comprehensive care plans incorporating various modalities and tailored fitness regimens, and offer motivational support to encourage adherence. Continuously assess and document patient progress using EMR software, collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize outcomes, and promote healthy lifestyles through specialized training programs. Operates Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT)
- Possession of an active Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia
- A clean professional record with no history of sanctions or board proceedings
- Exceptional proficiency in a variety of manual therapy techniques
- A demonstrated ability to design and implement effective exercise programs that promote long-term health benefits
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT
- A commitment to remaining current with the latest physical therapy research and techniques
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience specializing in orthopedic or sports physical therapy settings
- Experience working within an outpatient clinic environment, managing a diverse caseload of patients
- Background in developing and executing community outreach programs aimed at promoting health and wellness
