Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations to identify patient needs and establish customized treatment plans for orthopedic conditions, including sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic musculoskeletal disorders. Manage a caseload of approximately one patient per hour using evidence-based manual therapy techniques to enhance mobility, strength, flexibility, and balance while minimizing medication reliance. Design and implement tailored fitness and wellness programs, collaborate with healthcare professionals on interdisciplinary plans, and regularly assess treatment effects to monitor progress. Accurately document all services in compliance with regulatory standards. Operate onsite Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM within a collaborative team of two physical therapists and a PTA.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT)
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey
- A clean professional record with no disciplinary actions taken against your license
- Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques
- A solid foundation in evidence-based practice
- An onsite commitment
- A Monday to Friday schedule
- 9 AM to 5 PM
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting
- Competency in developing and implementing personalized exercise regimens specific to patient needs
- Proficient knowledge of Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software, particularly WebPT
