Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations to determine individual patient needs and develop comprehensive treatment plans including modalities and therapeutic interventions. Administer evidence-based therapies that enhance range of motion and aid in regaining strength and mobility, while maintaining a patient load of one patient per hour. Utilize manual therapy techniques and functional training exercises to minimize medication reliance and educate patients on prevention strategies and lifestyle modifications. Monitor progress through regular assessments and adjust treatment plans as necessary, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to address additional concerns. Work onsite Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM in a collaborative environment with two other therapists and a PTA.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution
- Active licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey, with no history of board or disciplinary actions
- Proficient in manual therapy and therapeutic exercise techniques
- Experience using EMR software, preferably WebPT, for documentation and treatment planning
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting
- Demonstrable success in developing patient-specific rehabilitation protocols that enhance mobility and function
- Knowledge of therapeutic modalities, exercise physiology, and patient motivational strategies
