Job Summary
Conduct thorough initial evaluations for patients to identify specific rehabilitation goals and develop personalized treatment plans. Provide one-on-one physical therapy sessions at a load of approximately one patient per hour, administering evidence-based therapies to improve range of motion, strength, and functionality. Regularly monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary, while maintaining accurate documentation within the WebPT EMR system. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care and advocate for non-surgical solutions and healthier lifestyle choices. Work onsite Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM in our Chula Vista facility, which specializes in orthopedic outpatient services for patients with musculoskeletal injuries, surgeries, and chronic pain.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT)
- A valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in California
- No disciplinary actions on record
- Proficiency in manual therapy techniques
- Ability to develop and implement individualized exercise programs
- Experience utilizing EMR software such as WebPT for patient documentation and care management
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience working as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting
- Demonstrated success in patient engagement and outcomes through customized rehabilitation programs
