Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine patient objectives and develop evidence-based treatment plans utilizing a variety of modalities. Manage a caseload of one patient per hour to deliver cost-effective therapies aimed at improving range of motion, strength, and overall mobility. Incorporate manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises while educating patients on non-surgical alternatives to promote independence. Document all interactions and outcomes in the WebPT EMR system and maintain continuous communication with the healthcare team regarding patient progress. Work onsite Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM in our state-of-the-art outpatient facility, focusing on restoring mobility for patients recovering from surgery, sports injuries, and chronic pain.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution
- Current California Physical Therapist License with no history of board or disciplinary actions
- Proficiency in executing manual therapy techniques
- Ability to formulate effective exercise protocols
- Previous experience as a Physical Therapist specifically in an orthopedic outpatient setting
- Ability to develop strong rapport with patients quickly
- Ability to provide encouragement and motivation
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with EMR software such as WebPT
