Job Summary
Conduct thorough patient evaluations to identify individual objectives and healthcare requirements, then manage a patient load of one patient per hour. Provide diverse, cost-effective therapeutic interventions including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and functional training to enhance mobility and minimize surgical needs. Develop comprehensive care plans tailored to patients recovering from surgery, injuries, or chronic musculoskeletal conditions, while documenting all services in the WebPT EMR system. Collaborate with a team of two physical therapists and one PTA to ensure cohesive care for individuals seeking orthopedic rehabilitation.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT)
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Newport News, VA
- A clean professional record free from board actions or disciplinary measures
- Demonstrated expertise in manual therapy techniques with a strong understanding of rehabilitation principles
- Proficient in developing effective exercise regimens tailored to patient needs
- Competent in utilizing EMR software platforms like WebPT for efficient patient management
