Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to determine patients' physical capabilities and limitations. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices. Administer therapeutic exercises and modalities, including manual therapy, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation. Educate patients and families on treatment protocols to encourage active participation. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, to ensure coordinated care. Maintain up-to-date documentation of assessments, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with legal standards. Work with a diverse outpatient population recovering from surgeries or managing chronic orthopedic conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program
- A valid Virginia state license to practice as a Physical Therapist
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting
