Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive orthopedic assessments, execute individualized treatment plans, and manage a patient load of one per hour using manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and functional training. Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care, while documenting progress meticulously in the WebPT EMR system. Review patient feedback regularly to adjust treatment plans and encourage self-management through education and motivation. Work onsite Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM within a collaborative team of two fellow physical therapists and one PTA.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program
- An active and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in Florida
- No history of disciplinary actions or board sanctions relating to professional conduct
- Exceptional manual therapy skills
- A strong background in orthopedic rehabilitation
- Proficiency in developing and implementing customized exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs
- Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly WebPT, for accurate patient documentation and data management
Desired Qualifications
- At least two years of clinical experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting
- A proven record in managing diverse patient cases
- Experience utilizing evidence-based practices and the latest rehabilitation techniques to achieve optimal patient outcomes
