Job Summary
Conduct thorough patient evaluations to develop personalized treatment plans for orthopedic rehabilitation, managing a diverse caseload of patients recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal conditions. Implement evidence-based modalities including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and patient education while maintaining accurate documentation in Web PT. Collaborate with physicians and occupational therapists to adjust fitness programs and perform regular outcome assessments to ensure optimal recovery. Work Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm in a modern outpatient clinic setting.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
- An active Physical Therapist license in New Jersey with an unblemished record, free of sanctions or disciplinary actions.
- Proficiency in a range of manual therapy techniques and therapeutic modalities specific to orthopedic rehabilitation.
- Experience in creating and implementing individualized exercise programs tailored to distinct patient needs and recovery goals.
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly Web PT, to ensure efficient documentation and record-keeping.
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
- A demonstrated ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
- Certifications in advanced therapeutic techniques.
