Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians to create comprehensive treatment plans for orthopedic conditions. Develop and implement individualized therapeutic exercise programs, including manual therapy and modalities, while providing education on conditions and preventive strategies. Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary, and maintain accurate patient records in accordance with regulatory requirements. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure cohesive care and facilitate group therapy sessions promoting physical wellness. Work Monday through Friday in a full-time outpatient office setting.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT)
- A valid state license to practice physical therapy
- A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience in physical therapy
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient computer skills for maintaining patient records and utilizing therapy documentation software
- The ability to foster strong, respectful relationships with patients and their families, promoting an environment of trust and support
- A passion for continuous learning and professional development that reflects an eagerness to improve patient care outcomes
- Experience in specialized orthopedic therapy or certifications related to orthopedic rehabilitation
- Previous work in a fast-paced outpatient setting
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
