Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients with orthopedic conditions, developing personalized treatment plans to improve mobility and strength. Implement evidence-based strategies while consistently updating plans based on ongoing assessments, involving patients and families in decision-making. Document all interactions meticulously and maintain effective communication with physicians and specialists to coordinate care. Provide mentorship to physical therapist assistants and interns, and participate in leadership initiatives including community outreach and quality improvement projects. Attend staff meetings and professional development workshops to stay current with treatment methodologies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
- Current State License in Physical Therapy
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems
- Basic computer skills
Desired Qualifications
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT)
