Job Summary
Conduct detailed evaluations and assessments of patients' abilities to formulate personalized treatment plans, then design and execute evidence-based intervention strategies to enhance mobility and alleviate pain. Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care, while educating patients and families on therapeutic exercises and injury prevention techniques. Maintain meticulous records of patient progress in accordance with healthcare regulations and participate in regular team meetings to enhance care strategies. This onsite role in Avenel serves a diverse population recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) or a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution
- An active New Jersey Physical Therapy License
- Strong clinical background with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in outpatient or orthopedic settings
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR for healthcare professionals
- Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills
