Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to assess physical health needs and develop individualized treatment strategies. Design and implement therapeutic exercise programs targeting strength, flexibility, and functional performance while utilizing skilled manual therapy techniques to alleviate pain and improve mobility. Continually reassess patient progress using assessment tools to refine care plans, and maintain accurate records in electronic medical record systems like WebPT. Work onsite Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM with an expected patient volume of two per hour, primarily serving individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and chronic pain conditions.
Required Qualifications
- A Master's degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- An active New Jersey Physical Therapist license
- A minimum of 2 years of hands-on clinical experience in a physical therapy setting
- Strong background in manual therapy techniques
- Proficiency using EMR systems
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in outpatient orthopedic settings
- Familiarity with evidence-based practices
- Training in advanced manual therapy techniques
- Certifications such as Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT)
- Experience with WebPT
