Job Summary
Assess patients' needs and establish individual therapy goals, then manage a caseload of one patient per hour while implementing cost-effective treatment strategies. Propose and monitor personalized fitness programs, utilize evidence-based interventions to enhance outcomes, and maintain detailed documentation of progress. Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration to provide comprehensive care, evaluate ongoing treatment efficacy, and adapt care plans based on patient progress. Work onsite Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM at our state-of-the-art sports medicine facility in Waterbury, Connecticut.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program
- A valid Connecticut license as a Physical Therapist
- Clean professional record without any history of disciplinary actions against your license
- Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques
- Ability to design and implement exercise protocols effectively
- Experience in utilizing WebPT EMR Software for patient documentation
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience working in orthopedic outpatient settings
- Demonstrated success in creating tailored care plans that address the individual needs of patients
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment to improve patient outcomes
