Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients' physical conditions and limitations, then develop individualized treatment plans incorporating manual therapy, exercise therapy, and functional training. Implement rehabilitation techniques to alleviate pain and restore function while monitoring progress meticulously and adjusting strategies based on reassessments. Educate patients and families on injury prevention and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care for those with orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation and chronic pain. Engage in continuous education through workshops to enhance clinical skills. Work onsite from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, at our state-of-the-art facility in Washington, DC.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
- A valid state license to practice physical therapy in Washington.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Proficient computer skills, particularly in documentation and record-keeping.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet varying patient needs throughout the day.
- Must be available for onsite work at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility located in Washington, DC.
- Must work within a structured schedule, from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday.
Desired Qualifications
- While a minimum of two years experience in physical therapy is preferred, newly graduated professionals are encouraged to apply, as mentorship opportunities will be provided to support your transition into the role.
