Job Summary
Develop and implement customized physical therapy treatment plans to prevent disability, relieve pain, and restore muscle function. Conduct thorough evaluations of patient functional abilities through advanced diagnostic tests and administer manual therapeutic exercises in individual or group settings. Provide patient and family education on therapeutic exercises and device usage, while supervising Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure proper care implementation. Regularly assess home environments for rehabilitation potential and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams during case conferences to optimize outcomes. Document clinical evaluations and treatment outcomes in compliance with organizational policies. Work Monday through Friday in our Cypress outpatient office, submitting documentation and payroll records on time.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited physical therapy program
- A valid physical therapy license in the state of Florida in good standing
- A minimum of one year of experience working as a physical therapist
- Experience working as a physical therapist, preferably in an outpatient or home health setting
- Current certification in CPR
- A valid driver's license
