Job Summary
Conduct assessments to identify patient objectives and develop personalized treatment plans for orthopedic clients recovering from injuries or surgeries. Manage a patient caseload of one per hour while utilizing therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and patient education to optimize functional outcomes. Document sessions accurately in WebPT and monitor progress to adjust care plans based on evidence and feedback. Work collaboratively with a team of two therapists and a PTA to foster patient independence and self-management skills in our Riverside, California outpatient facility.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution
- Valid state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in California
- Clear record with no history of board actions or disciplinary measures
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting
- Demonstrated expertise in manual therapy techniques and exercise prescription to treat various musculoskeletal conditions
- Proficiency in utilizing electronic medical records systems, specifically experience with platforms like WebPT
