Job Summary
Assess and evaluate patients' physical conditions to develop tailored treatment plans, then design and implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions focusing on optimal recovery after orthopedic injuries. Utilize advanced manual therapy techniques and therapeutic modalities to enhance rehabilitation outcomes while maintaining a manageable patient load of one individual per hour for dedicated care. Monitor patient progress, adapt treatment plans as necessary, and document all services provided. Collaborate with physicians and specialists to create comprehensive care plans and provide education on injury prevention and healthy lifestyle choices.
Required Qualifications
- Possession of a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia without any disciplinary actions against the license
- Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy
- Demonstrated proficiency in therapeutic exercise prescription
- Demonstrated proficiency in patient engagement strategies
- Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT
- Ability to work onsite in a state-of-the-art rehabilitation center
