Job Summary
Conduct thorough assessments of patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, fractures, and soft tissue injuries to evaluate physical condition and recovery potential. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and injury prevention education. Deliver at least one annual educational in-service presentation to the therapy team and participate in clinical research initiatives under management guidance. Mentor interns, students, and less experienced staff to enhance their practical clinical skills. This onsite role in Lakewood, New Jersey, focuses on home care settings for patients with chronic pain or musculoskeletal conditions. Candidates must hold an accredited Master's degree, a valid New Jersey license, and two years of orthopedic clinical experience.
Required Qualifications
- Possession of an accredited Master's Degree in Physical Therapy
- A valid and active New Jersey State Physical Therapy license
- A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in orthopedic physical therapy
- Strong foundational knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and patient care best practices
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals
Desired Qualifications
