Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify rehabilitation objectives and manage a caseload of one patient per hour. Design individualized care plans utilizing treatment techniques to enhance range of motion, while implementing cost-effective, non-surgical options to reduce medication reliance. Motivate patients to achieve functional goals through exercises that improve strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination. Document progress thoroughly and collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver holistic care. Engage directly with orthopedic patients following injuries or surgeries to facilitate transformative rehabilitation experiences within a supportive outpatient setting.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution
- Valid Connecticut license as a Physical Therapist
- Professional record free of disciplinary actions against your license
- Strong background in manual therapy techniques and delivering evidence-based interventions
- Experience in crafting and implementing exercise protocols tailored to various patient needs
- Proficiency in WebPT EMR Software or similar systems for effective patient management

- Previous experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting
- Experience in developing and executing fitness and wellness programs
