Job Summary
Conduct thorough assessments to understand unique patient objectives and manage a load of one patient per hour to deliver focused, individualized care. Develop comprehensive orthopedic care plans and implement evidence-based treatment modalities to improve functional abilities, while educating patients on exercises and therapeutic techniques for long-term recovery. Monitor progress to adjust treatment plans as necessary, documenting all interactions meticulously and collaborating with physicians and specialists to optimize the patient care continuum. Encourage patients through motivational strategies to foster commitment to their rehabilitation journey.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution
- Current certification as a licensed Physical Therapist in California
- No record of board actions or licensure disciplinary measures
- Ability to demonstrate proficient manual therapy techniques and clinical decision-making
- Skilled in designing and implementing tailored exercise programs
- Prior experience in outpatient orthopedic settings
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with Physical Therapy Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, such as WebPT
