Job Summary

Implement therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities to promote mobility and functional independence while educating patients and families on self-management strategies. Collaborate with nursing staff and interdisciplinary providers to adapt interventions and maintain detailed documentation ensuring regulatory compliance. Deliver in-services and workshops to facility staff to enhance understanding of therapy services and support quality improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- A valid Physical Therapy license in good standing in the state of Virginia
- A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
- Certifications in CPR and basic life support
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and team members
- A commitment to high-quality patient care and ongoing professional development
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems, including documentation practices
