Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations for patients with orthopedic conditions and design individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings. Monitor patient progress regularly, reassessing signs and symptoms to inform necessary treatment modifications. Document encounters meticulously using the electronic health record system within designated timeframes. Educate patients and families about the recovery process and address their concerns regarding rehabilitation goals. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize care for a diverse population ranging from young athletes to older adults with chronic issues. Achieve minimum utilization goals and meet organizational performance objectives while adhering to clinic core values.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field
- Current, unrestricted licensure from the Board of Physical Therapy in the state of Virginia
- Ability and willingness to perform evaluations and treatment both in-person and via telehealth as appropriate
- Team-oriented, with a strong emphasis on collaborative patient care and customer service excellence
Desired Qualifications
- Master's or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree
- Prior experience in an orthopedic setting
- Familiarity with telehealth platforms and best practices for remote patient engagement
- Experience in utilizing evidence-based practices to guide clinical decision-making
