Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients' needs, goals, and functional limitations, then create personalized treatment plans incorporating evidence-based practices. Provide one-on-one treatment sessions managing a caseload of approximately one patient per hour while implementing exercise regimens to enhance strength, flexibility, and coordination. Empower patients through education about conditions and treatment options, monitoring progress and adjusting plans based on assessment outcomes. Engage in regular communication with healthcare professionals to ensure collaborative care and promote lifestyle changes for improved wellness. Focus on adult patients recovering from sports injuries, post-surgical procedures, or chronic musculoskeletal issues within our outpatient Winchester facility.
Required Qualifications
- A Master's or Doctorate of Physical Therapy (PT) from an accredited program recognized by the American Medical Association and the American Physical Therapy Association
- A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist (PT) issued by the Virginia Physical Therapy Examining Committee
- A minimum of one year of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting
