Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians to assess needs and determine appropriate treatment strategies. Create and implement individualized treatment plans addressing orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine conditions using evidence-based practices. Deliver exceptional customer service through active listening to establish trust, while educating patients and caregivers on treatment methods and injury prevention. Meet or exceed established utilization metrics and objectives set forth by the organization to support overall business goals.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution
- State licensure as a Doctor of Physical Therapy from the Physical Therapy Examining Committee
- A minimum of two years of clinical experience in physical therapy
- Certification in CPR and basic life support
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in computer applications and electronic health record systems
- A commitment to building meaningful relationships with patients, helping them exceed their functional goals, and maintaining a positive outlook on recovery
- Location: West Palm Beach, Florida
- Full-time basis
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in specialized areas such as sports medicine, pediatric therapy, or hand therapy
- Familiarity with contemporary treatment techniques including but not limited to manual therapy, therapeutic modalities, and exercise prescription
- Prior experience in a fast-paced outpatient setting with a focus on comprehensive rehabilitation strategies
