Job Summary
Develop and implement tailored treatment plans for orthopedic patients, conducting comprehensive assessments using diagnostic tools to gauge progress. Administer therapeutic exercises, traction, massage, and physical agents while overseeing Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure adherence to care protocols. Perform home environment evaluations to recommend modifications supporting patient independence and document all evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries for regulatory compliance. Participate in interdisciplinary case conferences and communicate regularly with patients and medical personnel to adjust treatment plans based on ongoing feedback. Maintain current knowledge of best practices and contribute to quality improvement initiatives. This full-time role is based in Orlando, Florida, with a salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually.
Required Qualifications
- Hold a valid Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Possess a minimum of one year of relevant clinical experience in orthopedic physical therapy
- Have an active license to practice physical therapy in the state of Florida
- Exhibit strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and team members
- Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and professional development
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with advanced therapeutic modalities such as ultrasound therapy and electrical stimulation
- Background working in outpatient rehabilitation settings
