Job Summary
Assess patient functional abilities using diagnostic tests to develop individualized treatment plans for orthopedic conditions. Implement therapy treatments to relieve pain, enhance mobility, and restore function while employing manual techniques and designing rehabilitation exercises. Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants, monitor progress, and adjust care strategies based on observed outcomes. Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and self-management strategies. Maintain accurate clinical records and participate in interdisciplinary team meetings. Work Monday through Friday in a collaborative outpatient clinic setting with access to advanced rehabilitation equipment.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution
- A minimum of one year of hands-on experience in outpatient physical therapy, preferably with an orthopedic focus
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Florida
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, contributing to a positive and supportive workplace culture

- Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- Advanced certifications in orthopedic or manual therapy techniques
