Job Summary
Assess and evaluate patients' physical abilities through diagnostic and functional testing to establish individualized treatment plans. Implement physical therapy interventions, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities, tailored to orthopedic conditions. Oversee and mentor Physical Therapy Assistants while continuously monitoring and documenting patient progress to adjust treatment strategies. Provide education and guidance to patients and families regarding rehabilitation processes and participate in care team meetings to discuss interdisciplinary care planning. Complete required clinical documentation ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Current active Physical Therapist licensure in the state of New Jersey
- Certification in CPR
- A valid driver's license
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of one year of experience in orthopedic physical therapy, ideally in an acute care or rehabilitation setting
- Experience with developing and implementing diverse treatment modalities in orthopedic rehabilitation
- Previous involvement in patient education initiatives aimed at promoting health and wellness
