Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations to identify patient objectives and design individualized treatment plans for orthopedic patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic pain. Manage a caseload effectively by treating one patient per hour, implementing therapeutic interventions including physical modalities, exercises, and manual therapy techniques. Monitor patient progress by regularly reassessing treatment plans based on observed outcomes and document all services provided in compliance with legal and insurance requirements. Educate patients on treatment goals, maintain open communication regarding progress, and consult with physicians to optimize care. Work onsite Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm at our Irvine, California facility.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree
- Active state license to practice as a Physical Therapist, free from any board actions or disciplinary measures
Desired Qualifications
- Strong background in orthopedic physical therapy
- Ability to demonstrate effective manual therapy skills and develop engaging exercise programs tailored to individual needs
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT
- Experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting, having treated cases ranging from post-operative rehabilitation to sports injuries
- Expertise in various therapeutic techniques and a commitment to continuous professional development
- A passion for promoting patient autonomy and empowering clients in their healing journey
