Job Summary
Evaluate patient needs to develop individualized care plans and deliver treatments using modalities that enhance motion while minimizing medication or surgical dependency. Conduct one-on-one sessions lasting one hour each to ensure maximum recovery, then document progress notes and treatment plans thoroughly for quality improvement. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize strategies, monitor efficacy, and adjust care based on evolving patient capabilities. Promote overall wellness by integrating fitness programs aligned with patient aspirations. Work Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM alongside two fellow therapists and a PT assistant in a collaborative orthopedic outpatient setting focused on private insurance patients.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT)
- A valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist, free from disciplinary actions or board actions against your license
- Experience with manual therapy techniques that effectively enhance patient outcomes
- Proficiency in developing and leading customized exercise regimens tailored to individual capabilities and rehabilitation goals
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) software, particularly platforms like WebPT
