Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations to identify individual patient needs and establish realistic treatment goals for orthopedic clients recovering from surgery or injury. Deliver high-quality therapy sessions, managing a case load of one patient per hour using manual therapy techniques, exercise regimens, and specialized modalities. Create detailed care plans based on evidence-based practices, document interactions and outcomes meticulously, and consult with other healthcare professionals to optimize holistic treatment strategies. Motivate patients to remain committed to their goals while championing lifestyle changes that enhance strength, flexibility, and overall wellness.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT)
- A valid certification as a licensed Physical Therapist with a clean record (no disciplinary actions)
- Demonstrated knowledge and skill in manual therapy techniques
- Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT or similar platforms
