Job Summary
Conduct thorough assessments to identify and fulfill specific patient needs and goals in an orthopedic outpatient setting. Manage a caseload targeted at one patient per hour while developing comprehensive treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices, manual therapy, and modalities. Monitor and document patient progress through evaluations and consistent communication, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes. Collaborate with a small team of physical therapists and assistants to design integrated care plans for patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, or chronic pain. Promote health education and encourage patient engagement to foster autonomy and confidence during their rehabilitation journey. Operate onsite Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM with a structured schedule supporting work-life balance.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT)
- A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist
- A clean professional record, free from board actions or disciplinary measures related to licensure
- Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques
- An understanding of orthopedic rehabilitation practices
- Experience in developing effective exercise regimens tailored to individual patient needs
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) software, particularly platforms like WebPT
Desired Qualifications
- Prior work as a Physical Therapist in an outpatient orthopedic setting
- Experience in training and engaging patients in their rehabilitation processes, with a focus on motivational techniques
