Job Summary

Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to determine individual goals and rehabilitation needs, utilizing clinical assessments and patient histories. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices, including manual therapy techniques and exercise protocols aimed at improving mobility and function. Provide one-on-one therapy sessions, interacting closely with patients to motivate and guide them through their rehabilitation journey. Monitor patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as required, and ensure accurate documentation in our electronic medical record system (WebPT). Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, including physicians and occupational therapists, to coordinate comprehensive care for our patients. Educate patients on injury prevention strategies, lifestyle modifications, and exercises to promote ongoing health and well-being. This full-time role offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Required Qualifications

  • Completion of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution
  • Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Virginia, with a clean professional record
  • Proven experience in orthopedic outpatient settings, demonstrating expertise in delivering high-quality rehabilitation services
  • Strong manual therapy skills and an ability to create customized exercise regimens for diverse client needs

  • Familiarity with WebPT EMR software is preferred to ensure efficient patient documentation and tracking
  • Experience working in a sports medicine environment is a plus, allowing for advanced knowledge of athletic rehabilitation practices
  • Certification in specialized treatment techniques, such as dry needling or McKenzie Method, is advantageous
