Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' physical conditions and establish individualized treatment plans for orthopedic conditions including musculoskeletal injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain management. Engage in one-on-one therapy sessions, maintaining a patient load of one individual per hour, utilizing manual therapy, exercise programs, and therapeutic modalities to promote mobility. Document patient progress meticulously using EMR software such as WebPT and adjust strategies regularly to achieve optimal outcomes. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of two physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant in an onsite setting within our rehabilitation facility in Stockton, California.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of California
- No previous board actions or disciplinary actions against the license
- Strong proficiency in manual therapy
- Ability to develop effective exercise routines tailored to individual patient requirements
- Experience utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) software
- Experience with WebPT or similar platforms
Desired Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting
- Familiarity with a wide range of orthopedic conditions
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers
