Job Summary
Assess patient needs, set realistic recovery goals, and manage a load of one individual per hour to ensure personalized attention. Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans utilizing manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, functional training, and injury prevention education. Document treatments meticulously, evaluate progress regularly to adjust plans, and collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate comprehensive care for patients recovering from orthopedic surgery, injury, or chronic conditions. Work onsite Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program
- Active license to practice as a Physical Therapist in California
- No history of board or disciplinary actions
- Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques
- Effective exercise prescription
- Strong familiarity with EMR software, particularly WebPT
- Excellent communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting
- Experience with sports rehabilitation
