Job Summary
Assess patients and develop individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices and advanced manual therapy skills. Deliver personalized therapeutic interventions to aid recovery from post-operative conditions and chronic musculoskeletal issues, maintaining a load of one patient per hour. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care, document services in WebPT, and engage patients in customized fitness programs. Focus on cost-effective, non-surgical alternatives to optimize mobility while minimizing medication reliance. Monday through Friday onsite coverage at our Waldorf facility with a manageable patient load.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution
- Active Physical Therapist license in Waldorf, MD, with no board or disciplinary actions against it
- Strong manual therapy skills to effectively address musculoskeletal issues
- Proficiency in developing exercise routines tailored to the patient's needs
Desired Qualifications
- Experience using electronic medical record (EMR) software, specifically WebPT
- A minimum of one year of experience working as a physical therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a passion for providing compassionate, patient-centered care
